Volunteer Jobs at MFC - AGM - Shirt and Gear sorters

Our club relies on volunteers for almost everything. Our costs stay low because of parents and players donating their valuable time to help out. There are many volunteer jobs both large and small, during the season and in the lead up. Some only happen once or twice and some require a commitment for a longer period of time.

Jobs range from coaching teams to managing the database, helping in the canteen and clubhouse to being a ground official or referee or arranging sponsorship or promotions.

Some positions will need to be filled at our AGM coming up on October 15th and many many others just need you to register. A more detailed list of jobs and times will be on the website very soon.

If you'd like to help out, in any way large or small, you can sign up at the clubhouse on Presentation Day, come to the AGM, sign up on the website volunteer page (to be added shortly) or simply email your interest to volunteer@marrickville-red-devils.org.au .

In the next two weeks we need help sorting out and checking in all the 2008 gear that's returned on Presentation Day.

Can the AGM be shifted to another night? I think we will get a very low turnout on a night when the Socceroos are playing a World Cup qualifier.

agree with previous comment - plenty will not attend because of this clash - crazy night for any football club to have an agm and meeting will have to be very quick given kickoff for socceroos in brisbane is 7.30pm with telecast starting 7pm - any other wednesday would not have this problem - does the concordia club have fox coverage in any case or will people need to race home or to wherever tv coverage is.

Please move the AGM. Very few people will come along on a world cup qualifier night.
